James P. Johnson recorded in 1944 his Twilight Rag, a piece he had already recorded in 1917 as a piano roll. This version is very far from the first one, due to the evolution of his keyboard technique. It's a two parts piece, like most of his high-tempo compositions (jingles, modernistic...).
